Ned Kelly. a book sale, graffiti and sport fun TV style

At the end of the drive where I am staying is the same Ned Kelly letterbox that was there when we were here last. However, it seems he has acquired a friend this time.

At the weekend Richard, Elliot and I went to the biggest book sale I have ever seen. There were 2 halls, one for the cheaper end of the market and the other, books in better condition. There were thousands of books, jigsaws and games. People were loading up shopping trolleys with books so this is obviously a very popular event which runs for 2 weeks every year. Richard and I found a few books as well as a couple of jigsaws. It shows how popular this is as there were 48 pay points just in one hall and there were queues at most when we left. I imagine there were a similar number in the other hall. all money raised goes to charity.

A lovely walk with Richard and Dusty beside a gulley one late afternoon. The gulley walls were decorated with some lovely graffiti. There is obviously a lot of artistic talent hidden away in the world.

An evening of sports this evening but all courtesy of a Nintendo Switch so we don't have to leave the house. A lot of competition but they were pretty evenly matched. We had badminton, tennis, bowling and sword fighting.

Needless to say the sword fighting was most popular with Elliot. Josie and her friend seemed to prefer the bowling. think I would have enjoyed that too.
